so we ran (my dark companion)

A dark monster leading the way
As I run along side it
The long strides connected
As if they were connected

I ran from everything
My family
My love
My friends
Myself

The only one’s knowing where I was going
Were me and my other half
Us running through the woods together
Away

We stopped
And breathed as one
Although we looked different
Our hearts were the same
For she was a part of my soul

My only companion
Through it all
Mad, sad
Any emotion that showed at all
She would feel along with me

Pain would be felt through both
If any harm would come
Spirits connected through strings

But I doubt that would happen
Unless separated
For we are strong
And they are all weak
Our hearts beat together
With a dark power stronger then all

So we run
Out of anger
Remorse
Fear
And sadness

Not fear of being killed
But fear of being found out
And having to kill
All we both love
All we both hate

We will run as far as we can
Not stopping
And not turning back
No matter what might happen

If we could of ever ran far enough
Then this would be it
But never will we be forgiven
Never will we be safe
Not while were together
Not while were apart

So we ran
From the people we angered
The death we hid
And the people who
Blamed
We ran

We ran to see how long it would take
For the sadness of all the loss would go away
The need for home perished and
All I needed was her
Part of me yet a being in herself
Anger and darkness in her
My anger and darkness in her
But yet her my greatest companion of all

We still run
The remorse
Fading
As we run
Towards the thing we ran from for years
The anger
The remorse
The fear
And the sadness

We couldn’t run from it any
Longer
We both felt the pain of being away
Her getting darker
Myself even fighting the fact of hatred

We knew they would forgive
No matter how impossible it seemed
They loved us and we loved them
This dark impression in us shale vanish when
We finally reached our destination

So we run
Unstoppable
Towards our home
Towards our worst fear
And we will reach our destination

So we run
Me and my dark half
A wolf
Darkness engulfed
As we ran

We ran
Together till the end
Till our end
The final destination
That was in our heart
All the time
So we ran
