The first poem written by me, please bare with me I was only in grade 8 at that time.
The Remaining Pain

As I sat on the cold bare floor
A bit of pain was about to become more.
Less did I know what was waiting on me,
Remained pain that no one can or may see.

The suns' beams are softer than that night
Even though the pain is still so bright.
The hardest words were spoken
And then the friendliness was broken.

While the softness of Spring was turned
Into sharp and bright lightning that burned,
The storm raised that afternoon
And it didn't clear to soon.

The day after That day the storm raised again
And I knew just like the day before, it will clear up, but not exactly when.
The day after the second day - opened up my eyes
And started filling my mind with lies.

If only I knew what my decision would bring,
But what did I know about a broken wing.
Then I realised the storms are past
Although the pain will not disappear fast.

Sometimes when my thoughts drift far away,
I come to realize my pain is here to stay.
That's why it is called remaining pain,
Something was lost and nothing was gained!
