A little child is crying' in Rwanda far away,

Another child is dying' by the roadside'  where he lays,

T heir father has been murdered' their mother probably too,

And children in Biafra little more than bones,

their mothers are no better' mumbling mournful tones,

Their vacant eyes wide open' wondering what's it all about,

How life can be so full for some'  While most are left without
