To give from one’s heart addressing hidden doubts. (Form: Monotetra)
Season’s Blessing

Too often, what we love is lost.
Unrecognized, it just gets tossed,
put off until that bridge is crossed
but at what cost? But, at what cost?

This time of year reminds us all
there’s more to Christmas than the haul
of gifts we picked up at the mall.
We hear the call. We hear the call.

Somewhere inside we hear a voice
that tells us each we have a choice
to pay the overdue invoice.
Let us rejoice. Let us rejoice.

Let us each overcome the pride
that removes us, bridge the divide
and claim the love we’ve set aside.
We cannot hide. We cannot hide.

It matters not the reason why:
Christmas, Kwanzaa, angels on high,
Menorah’s glow as evening’s nigh.
Give it a try. Give it a try.

To give from one’s heart addressing
hidden doubts. There is no guessing.
Share with loved ones by professing
Season’s blessing. Season’s blessing.
