Omniscient\Metaphorical on suicide; obsessive w/ spacing basis
Click, click
Rings the call of
Termination
Waving from the
Slick, freezing,
Metallic
Barrel just waiting to
Click, click.
Taps the pencil in his
Fingers
Shaking and shivering
Aching
To bleed it out and
Click, click!
Chatters the silent
Teeth
Opening and closing
Waiting
To choke on it and
Click, click?
Do hearts go click?
When they're
Sad or anxious or nervous
And
Beating and beating
Till it missed a beat
Followed by
Another
And another
Maybe one more
Just a few too many
And
Click, click
Tocks the monotonous
Clock
Ticking and tocking
Crisp, uniform
Picking
At the nerves
Of a heart that goes
Click, click!
When it looks at the
Picture
And thinks of everything
She
Could have been
And
Should have been
And
Would have been
If she hadn't gripped
The stock
Of
A freezing barrel
As she sat down
Her pencil
When she lost
Her heart and
Missed a beat
And
Pulled the trigger
And it went
Click, click.
He looked at the
Casket
And
Walked away
No, he
Ran away
Blinking back tears, that
Could have
Should have
Would have
Been there, if
He hadn't grabbed the
Same, very stock
And went
Click, click..
For what is a flower
Whose lost its petals?

Three days earlier

Click
The cold cylinder
Slipped into the barrel
Click, click
Halfway there
She spins it halfway 'round
And sums up her thoughts with
Click, click
She put the last one into place
And set it on the mark,
Click.
Goes the
Click
Goes the
Click
Goes the
Click
Right on time
Every time
Goes the
Click
Goes the
Click
Goes the
Clock
As she
Writes
Her name
On the paper
She pressed
The button
On the
Pen
And
It goes
Click
The cold, metallic
Shaft, cylinder
Pining for her touch
To grab the stock
And go
Click
Cause she forgot
Her smile
Somewhere
Sometime back
A while ago
She set down
The music and her pen
A while back
Sometimes
She thinks
She thought
She
Had no
heart
From the
Start
And she lost
Her personality
Somewhere
She
Doesn't care
Anymore
About all these things
She
Doesn't care,
Someone?
She
Gave them up
But couldn't throw
Them
Away
Discarded
She shut the jour
Click.
Somehow
She
Grabbed the stock
And by the will
Of mind,
Or lack thereof,
Manipulated it
And made it go
Click
It went click,
Click stop, click
My world missed a beat
The clock stuttered
My heart shuddered
The day she
Went
Click, click.
For what is a flower
Whose lost its petals?

The flower stood there
Crooked, limp
As the
Winter
Froze its
Petals
As the
Wind
Stole its
Petals
Battered and beaten
Broken, the flower
Lost a petal
Dropped a petal
Threw a petal
Away
And they went
Click
The next one went
Click
The next one went
Click
As they floated
Onto the frozen earth
And went
Click
Click
Click
As the bleeding heart
Gave up its petals
They went
Click
It went
Click, click
Empty
Just like she
Went bang bang
Bang
Bang bang bang
Click, click
It is empty
But it still goes
Click.
And the petals
Floating down
To join the
Rest
Softly, slowly
They go
Click,
They go
Click, click
As it stands there, crying
He went
Click, click
When he saw her
On the floor
After she
Click.
Goes the
Click
Petal
Click
Goes the
click!
Resonating through
The vibrant field
In agony as
Its most beautiful
Flower went
Click..
Click click click click
Click..
They went
Click,
More or less
The tears fell
Frozen
The years fell
Cozen
If not false
Then it's not tr-
Click.
Goes the
Click.
Goes the
Click, click
Flower goes
Click.
As it stands there
Lonely
No petals
They went
Click.
She went
Click
He went
Click.
Standing
Click
It is all but thorns
On a stem, waiting
To dry out and
Crack and
Click.
No petals on the
Flower
Just
A thorny stem
And click
Click click click
Click
Click, click
Fell over,
Crumbled
For what is a flower
