You were the very red
Of my heart and soul
Without you only grey beats in my chest
And nothing fills this hole

This void you left in me
It permeates my heart
Left me cold, unfeeling
With no more love to impart

And yet this love still drives my being
My soul is still infused

How things could have been

Influence my every move

Your beauty leaves me dazed

Your eyes, your smile, your beautiful sensuous form
Your laugh, your gaze, your glowing love so warm

For you to be more beautiful
