"Betrayed"

I loved you with all my heart,
with empty eyes you said we had to part.
I would have never thought in thirty years,
you would make this lady cry a thousand tears.
And now I walk alone in the dark,
feeling so betrayed and still in shock!
How can you live with yourself?
I loved you for richer or poorer in sickness and health.
But, I forgive you as a Christian with love,
for you will never see me only from above.
