A Journey of self

Have you ever why you were born? I have always thought there had to be some reason why I had the life I had growing up, my mother never really gave a two licks for me, yet I was always doing things that I thought at the time would change that fact, but it never did. I think that I am still doing that in some ways, always wanting her to say the words.
