To Say Hello

No longer am I cold and dark...
Love, again, found its way to my heart.

Time has passed so slowly by...
For days and months and years I cried...

and wondered why my soul'd ne'er rise.

My friends, they ached right by my side...
to make me smile-they tried and tried.

Their efforts were great...
but it was my fate...

To wait for my prince, so handsome and wise.

We planned out a date...
I was almost too late...

I wanted to flee...
but I was dying to see...


At last I looked into his blue eyes...

"Hello" I whispered. "Hello" said he...
And again the light shone down on me.
