Short Poem I wrote in 9th Grade. I have music for it now.
[Introduction]
The Red Rose bleeds
For a mourning heart.
A heart full of love
Yet full of grief.
Doubtful in my pain and suffering.

See the petals fall
Dead to the ground.
Like the golden leaves
In the Fall.
Cold winds blow chills into my heart.

A Red Rose is withering away!
The cold winter snow has come to stay!
Icy winds blow!
Deep is the snow!
The ground is covered in white...

But just as the Rose
Is about to give up
The light crepes into the sky
Bringing life to all below
And all life begins anew.
