A short poem about one of my closest friends
What Do You Do For Me?

What do you do for me?

A question from long ago.

It took me a while to see but now I know.

You looked past the appearance

And accepted me for me.

Everyday with you was a new experience

Like the changes of the sea.

When ever I needed help you never ran

When I thought I couldn’t go on

You were always there to say “Yes you can”

Through all the trials that came along

You were the one who kept me strong.

Even when I wasn’t there for you

You still helped me pull through.

From the bottom of my heart

I truly care for you

Even after all I did wrong

You stuck with me for this long

How much that meant to me

Is something you will never know.

Well I guess it’s time to say good-bye

I’ll try my best to cry

Trust that I will never forget you

An I hope you’ll remember me too

Just remember this one thing

I will always love you.
