A story of happy thoughts
The wind blew lightly over the mountainous hill. Falling back into the tall soft grass I released a peaceful sigh. I wiggled my toes and smiled feeling sunshine drench my body. This is just what I needed I said putting my hands behind head. I reached for my old wicker basket and pulled out a water bottle to quench my thirst. I sat up looking at the white puffy clouds rolling through the sky. The stripes of my blue and white jacket brought me comfort in the light breeze. Dandelions fluttered lightly through the breeze to start a new another field somewhere. A voice softly tickled my ears.

“Wake up dear.” I smiled as I fell back lightly into the grass. I was awake and I was in my own personal heaven.

“It’s time to wake up honey.” I released an angry huff and opened my eyes. I was awake could they not see?

“Wake up!” I shot awake and smacked my head into a cold metal surface then jerked away landing face first in a cold wet substance. I had first hit my spoon then face planted into my cereal from this morning. On top of it all I was now late for school and I knew I surely had cornflakes clinging to my face.
