Wonderful smells, brightly colored flowers, soft grass and all these tiny insects buzzing around. The little puppy was so excited! It roamed around running from one corner of the garden to the other. Its tail sometimes straight up in the air, sometimes wagging like wild. What a beautiful spring morning! The pond was crystal clear. The little puppy decided to run along the path leading to the pond, wagging its tail. It sniffed the fresh air that was brought to the lowlands by a cool breeze coming from the mountains. The little puppy approached the pond too fast: running, falling, tumbling. Oh no, the little puppy could not stop and SPLASH fell into the pond! The pond was not deep. Little puppy stood in the cold water all wet and miserable! It reached the shore and hopped out of the water. Little puppy shook itself dry and then it run, run around the garden to warm up again, full of joy, hopping, barking, gasping. What a beautiful spring morning! Watch out little puppy, don't run so close to the pond again! Oh no: running, falling, tumbling, SPLASH! Little puppy was back standing wet and cold in the pond! This time it was shivering. The bees were laughing and buzzed around the puppy while it dragged itself out of the water. What a spring morning! |
