I see a scared little girl, and I realize it's me.
I look in the mirror,
and this is what I see.
I see a scared little girl.
She's staring back at me.

Her blue eyes glitter,
with tears ready to fall.
One escapes her lid,
and down her cheek it crawls.

Her cheeks are that of red,
burning with heated pain.
Her soul is full of suffering,
and cannot be made to tame.

She scratches at her face,
at the blemishes only she finds.
Paranoia eats away at her,
puts her in a trepid state of mind.

She runs her fingers through her hair,
then starts to roughly pull.
She screams obscenities at herself,
about how she is ugly and pitiful.

I can only shout with her,
my own pain never ceasing.
I scratch my face, pull my hair,
my anger ever increasing.

Then I look in the mirror,
and this is what I see.
I see a scared little girl,
and I realize it's me.
