A poem I wrote about my father who recently passed.
You are gone now

There aren't going to be anymore chances

No more chances to say goodbye

No more chances to ask questions

All answers will be forever hidden

I have no way to express my confused and compressed emotions

Words would only fall on deaf ears

So much rage and sorrow at the same time

So much to think about

I don't want to think at all

It's painful and scary

I'm so close to falling off the deep end

I have no idea how to think of you

As a great man or a monster?

Too many thoughts, my brain is buzzing

Too much pain, my heart is overflowing like my eyes with tears

I didn't even get to say goodbye

I don't know anything...

Except

You are gone now
