Far from our native home
no not did we roam...

The idea of an answered call
Yes, no concern whether we fall...

Into this quest with no protest
of this call, we lived our best...

Now here we are, whom I did touch
lost of our grandson, and son too much?

From place to place, we moved on
Never questioning God on the Throne...

From light into darkness to prevail
on the wings of the air like a sail...

I have seen grown men cry
watching women not asking why...

I have seen love turn to hate
I have seen families go out broken gates...

Away from home to a home
of any fame will never be known...

Did we fulfill the quest or test?
We answer the call of life conquest...
