Day Of Rest

A Day Of Rest.

Saturday as arrived
a chance for my hobbies to come alive.

I awoke with the birds and the morning mist
I have so much to do i was left with a list.

After a cup of tea some toast and marmalade
i stick on the radio
music a great aid.

After the pots the forks and the pans
i open my eyes to the sun shining on gods great land.

I have so much to do but i think i will give it all a miss.

Sitting in the garden with the grass and the bees
lovely fresh air along with a breeze.

This is the life
its great for the soul
