Story of a snail

A snail with no home
Is walking on the floor.
How sad to have no goal
And ramble on alone.

By now he's gone for good
To meet his brotherhood
He knows not where they are;
He knows it can't be far.

But let's be fair and square.
In time, his feet will wear.
No longer will he walk,
Forever he'll be stuck.

And so until the end it was,
The very truth of how it goes,
A story of the snail's foes.
But where he is only he knows.
