Infinite Clusterfuck

Heavy poetry
Pins me down
And I suffocate by my own hands
A halo of crushed flesh around my neck
Purple and blue

Purple and blue
Is how I feel
Under the iron grip
Of rhyming words
Clever tricks
Played through the alphabet

As knowledge grows
Innocence shrinks
And I try my best to rebel
To shut out all the letters
Nouns and verbs

I just want nothing
But it seems like such a struggle
And so I find myself
Sprawled out on the floor
Drowning in more poetry
