Dream

If I could take away what’s real,
And turn it into what I feel,
The world would be full of you and I,
Singing and dancing in the sky.
Feeling your warmth on a glorious day,
Radiating joy in every way;
Happiness is your smiling face,
Love is your tender embrace.
I wish I could capture your eyes,
Sparkling like the ocean at sunrise,
You hold my hand and take me away,
With many charming things to say.
We share our laughter in this cheerful land,
We forget our problems and understand,
The beauty of our life together-
Laugh, sing, and dance forever.
Finding warmth in your being,
And remembering that the real meaning
Of you and I in the clouds,
Is something that I dreamed aloud,
Taking away what is real,
And turning it into what I feel.
