I swim in this endless sea of memories.
Looking back I have no regrets, no apologies.
I float through my subconscious with my forgotten past.
I can’t help but miss it all, it was never meant to last.
Each wave is a different recollection in this pop-up autobiography.
I want to stop and relive these memories in this abnormal psychology.
But I must push forward before I’m overwhelmed by this ocean.
With each passing wave, time drags as they play in slow motion.
Such realism I feel as if I were still there, but I can’t stop.
I can’t be distracted from my goal. I’ll make it out on top.
I will continue till I’ve reached my final destination.
And when I get to my paradise, ill look back with fascination…
I’ll be content with my past, for I know it defines me as a man.
Though I’ll get older and make more memories, ill stick to the plan.
I’ll make it knowing you’re all right behind me.
You’ll give me the strength to make it across this sea.
