A Quatrain chain poem about something priceless almost lost.
A Quatrain Chain written for Week 21 for Poetic Explorations.

Love is patient, love is kind,
         you've heard the pundits say,
But I have found that I am blind,
         I let love slip away.

I had you once, we two were whole,
And still I failed to see.
I let my pride break down my soul,
and plans God had for me.

But know this now I pledge to you,
         my pure, undying love.
I seek naught else but to be true
         assured by Him above.
