Confusion pulls eyebrows together and droops the corners of her mouth Wrinkles grow deeper and longer A hand with bulging knuckles and thick, blue veins ventures out warily Hovers an inch above the squat, black mouse Stubbornness kicks in and eyes widen with determination Only basic instructions are desired; anything more receives a half-turn and glare You desperately desire to show her the most efficient path to her ultimate goal: an email You bite your tongue to withhold your instructions; they bubble up inside you, instead Double-click, file, save, new tab, home row, hard drive, loading, streaming, buffering You stop the hand that is subconsciously reaching out to guide the mouse This is a lesson for you, as much as for her Patience is a virtue, teaching is an art; you have yet to master either Slowly confidence is gained Words of wisdom relayed quickly before she began start to make sense Eyebrows raised, she turns with question in her eyes: Is this right?
