Chapter Two:Seeing More Clearly

I rushed to second hour.I was so afraid Severin was in my second hour.I ran into Algebra and sat down and took my purse off my shoulder and laid my binders down.I watched the door to make sure Severin wasn't coming in.The teacher started to close the door.I sighed of relief.Then the door was stopped by a hand with a small tattoo of a cross on it.Yippee.I jinxed it.Severin walked in and handed the teacher a slip.They exchanged looks and conversed for a little bit and smiled and nodded and pointed to the seat in front of me.I put my head down."You sick?"he said as he put his stuff down.I shook my head.The teacher started talking about trying to find the volume of a cylinder.Gosh,another thing I read ahead on.The period went by fast.I couldn't exactly breathe a sigh of relief because I knew I had science next hour with Mr.Perfect as my lab partner.

Science went by pretty fast.The lab was easy.We were just identifying different types of rocks.Severin was also in my Gym,ELA,and Space Exploration elective,which was basically all my classes from 1-6 hour...yay...it was lunch time and I started towards the music room.I went under the desk and pulled my sandwich out of my bag and started eating.I heard the door open.I went to my always-trusty hiding spot,the bass drum and watched.I couldn't see anything.Then I heard a voice behind me that made me freeze."Whatcha lookin for?"Severin said."Ugghhhh!!!"I said,picking up my stuff and trying to leave the music room when Severin stopped me."What's wrong?"I never really thought about it.Why didn't I want to see him?Then I remembered.Two words.Dave.Robinson.Dave was new last year and he liked me and I liked him because I was the first girl he befriended here.Then he met some other girls and now he's crazy popular.Oh well.Life happens."Hey I was wondering if you wanna go to the river walk this weekend."I smiled and thought to myself,'Give this guy a chance.'"Sure."He put his arm around me and we walked outside.I think I liked this guy.A LOT.I hope I didn't just jinx it.
