After a bad break up.
I can't be seen with you at the mall
It will make your image crawl
I can not go with you to the ball
I will be invincible in the hall

Is it cause they look smarter
Does it really matter?
Why does it make your face shatter
Are you held up in the latter?

I told you I am not the best
You said I was blessed
But now you look possessed
Acting like am an awkward guest

Why were you not sincere
You just wanted me near
To satisfy your royal cheer
I promised I would not have shed a tear

But you lied
You opened my heart and planted a bomb inside
When in you I confide
I know I tried

You are a glimmering creature of lies
Do not look so surprise
Cause it show in your betraying eyes
How much of me you despise

I will not accept this fate
I will not be your bad date
I will run through the great gate
Where all good things wait

I may not be good enough for you
That does not mean my life is through
I may go unnoticed like a single dew
I know my worth, yes I do

Someday I will get my shining knight
And we will ride through the purple night
Below the starry clusters of light
And we will be one at night shinning bright
