How I felt when a love interest was unreciprocated.
Mingled

Today my tears mingled with the rain,

My emotions cried to be out,

Always they are wild and untamed,

The gried, shame, and heartbreak,

Were hard against my chest ready to take,

Any and every opportunity,

To torment me for what seems an eternity,

The rain, oh so ever like a mist,

Though inside everything puched,

As with the blows of a great fist,

The water, like a fall,

Cleansed me for a little while,

It washed my grief, anguish, guilt, and hate,

Away for a later date,

But inside I feel my emotions numb with pain,

Crying, dying, pining to be released,

And there they remain forlorn, forsaken,

Doomed to exist together, mingled forever.
