Poem about my most recent ex no struture to it, I know that its not well written
You are the light in my night, you are my star that shines so bright,
I wish I could make you see, how much you mean to me,
No matter how far I fall, you’re always there when I call,
Just like it’s meant to be, you’re always there to catch me.

One night I looked up for my light, my star that shined so bright,
But my star was gone, and my light had moved on,
Now when I fall, I know you’re not there to call,
this is the way it has to be, you can’t be there to catch me.

You were the light in my night, you were my star that shined so bright,
I wish I could make you see, how much you always will mean to me.

The memories of my light, I do not wish to rewrite,
I will remember each kiss, those I really do miss,
The secrets that we shared and the love that we declared,
Underneath the warm covers, back when we were lovers.

I won’t forget how much, I loved our every touch,
how much you did for me, and how you tried to make me see,
That I am beautiful and unique, I am strong and not weak,
That I do not need to be sad, and that I am not bad.

I will remember the mistakes I made, and how we played,
the things that we said, and the tears I have shed,
The time we spent together, I will remember forever,
The memories of your light, will light up my dark night.

I won’t forget you my star but for now au revoir,
Thank you for all that you have done, it was fun.

On every night, I will look up for my star that shined so bright,
I hope I see it again one day, if not that it is happy being away,
I love you my star, whether you are near or far,
I hope in reading this you see, how much you mean to me.
