it's the small things in life

it is the touch of his hand,
knowing i have a soft place to land.
it is the look in his eyes,
knowing that he is not telling me lies.
it is when he slowly traces his hands on my face,
knowing that i have found my place.
it is the sweetness of his laughter,
knowing that with him my heart beats faster.
it is wanting to be with him forever,
