People walked by me with tears and mournful faces. I try my best to hold back the tears, but it's hard to when you think of all of the people who died today. Although I try to wipe away the tears and sadness with the rage I felt for the Japenese. I could only remember the screaming and crying from the people above.
I remember the news broadcasting everywhere that Japan has declared war on us. The next moment they tell us to seek a bunker of some sort to protect ourselves from the atomic bombs being dropped. That was when I heard the screams from outside of my apartment in NYC. I looked out to the horizon and saw a shiny star growing bigger by the second. My parents grabbed the suit cases we packed and headed downstairs to the basement. As we rushed into the basement we saw our neighbors and other holding candles with sad and mournful faces.
