Being the gang leader's underdog is tough stuff.
[Introduction]
"And, what are you going to do about it?" the gang leader whispered in my ear. He had my arm crushed underneath his foot and as for my other arm, he was pulling up on. Winning fights with him were hard. I'd have to admit that. But I still wish I'd win one. And this one to be exact.

"Nothing..." I mumbled under my breath. He moved his foot from my arm and was now crushing my ribs. The pain shot through my body like fireworks. I was sure to die. "Thought so," he hissed back in reply.

"You'll never become leader," he told me. That's right. I was fighting to become leader. And how stupid was I to do that? Really stupid. I mean, I was fighting Shawn Nichols. He was the best in our gang. That's why be was leader. And I was fighting him to take his spot. All I wanted was to be treated with respect. But that wouldn't happen until I was leader. And if I had to fight Shawn to be leader, then so be it.

I screamed out in agony once Shawn twisted my hand and nearly broke it. But it hurt so bad that now it was un-movable. I was twisting in pain on the concrete ground. I was slowly fading. My vision became black and I finally fainted or passes out. Even though I passed out, or knocked out, I could still hear Shawn and his followers cackling with delight or humor. Though, to me, it wasn't funny at all.
