A beautiful experience at the river where I got connnected back to Mother Nature
My daughter, her husband and my grandchildren always wanted to take me to a river side picnic and finally I accepted their invitation. It was hard for me to get up in the back of their jeep, but I did. I was scared at the beginning through the rough lonely road. My grandkids were excited, happy and talking about the fun time ahead of them. They were so happy to see me with them, Well I was happy as well, but a afraid of the wild ride. I didn’t want them to see my face while they were having so much fun.

The sweet and irresistible smell from the wild guava trees on the way made them stop on the side of the road  to pick some ripe guavas that were at reach. We kept driving deep into the woods, leaviing civilisation behind us while getting  closer to the edge of the river when I started to perceive a nice smell, the best wood aroma therapy I had ever smelled. The sound of the river was getting louder and we got impressed listening to the birds singing their melodies, giving us a warm welcome ceremony.

Once we got to the river, picked a perfect spot and got everything set up, the kids ran around, chazing butterflies before they went into the river. My daughter and her husband started the fire and the cooking process while I went to nice spot under a bamboo tree, sat down still to enjoy all around me.

It was a peaceful and relaxing experience where I got myself connected back again to Mother Nature.
