a poem about graduation
Let there be a splendid toast
As Aura breathes her sun-kissed sigh
For all that will be missed the most

And though contact is popular to boast
Silence rings when all will die
Let there be a splendid toast

From the rivers of Eden to the Oriental coast
Howling grief splinters the spry and begs to cry
For all that will be missed the most

With saddened sorrow the date sneaks close
For this nightmare to fall away into the sky
Let there be a splendid toast

Look around and take that last dose
Inhale and ingest to ensure that high
For all that will be missed the most

And they may now stay as fated ghosts
When the time comes to see His eye
Let there be a splendid toast
For all that will be missed the most
