All My Life

All along I've waited for someone to come into my life..
Not only did he but he made me his wife.
I've waited for him to come and keep me sane.
The night I first met him I knew I was forever changed.
You wanted to buy my love and LORD knows you tried.
Sometimes at night I would find myself crying.
You didn't have to buy what I would have freely given.
For I felt this was why my life was worth living.
During this time that we have been married, we've encountered times that seemed scary.
Yet with you beside me and loving me like you do,
I know we can and always will pull through. You don't have to buy me diamonds or gold.
Just take me in your arms and don't let me go.
I pray you know and can see,
Just how much you mean to me.
I try not only to tell but show you everyday,
That I'm grateful you came my way.
This makes our 14th year that we have been together and i'm praying for more.
