When darkness overwhelms the mind. (Form: Trijan Refrain) |
Black Rain Water runlets paint my windows; the rain tattooing down. Passing cars casting lambent glows bejeweling nature's crown. A gift of life lies in the gale; the glass obscures as I exhale. A gift of life. A gift of life that calls the heart to no avail. Water runlets paint my windows; they reign over my mood, reminding me of how time flows. There's no chance to elude. The dirge-like sound corrupts my brain. Will I ever see the sun again? The dirge-like sound. The dirge-like sound brings darkness sung in words arcane. Water runlets paint my windows in scenes that seem so bleak. I feel the walls as they enclose; they forbid me to speak. Suffocating in my madness, nothing's left except for sadness. Suffocating. Suffocating as I await death's soft caress. Notes An entry for "COLORING THE WORLD CONTEST TEMP.
