Do you know me?

Do you know me
or think you know who I am?

Do you notice the void I try so hard to hide
pushing through the pain pent up inside?

How do you know if someone is truly happy
or do you not care to find out?

The person you see isn't
the same you think you know about.

Some days are so hard to get through
if only someone really knew.

I am weak and pathetic, I can't stand who I am
I hate myself through and through.

It's easy to judge from the outside looking in.
I would do anything to change it, even if it's a sin.

The next time you think what you see is what you get
take a look deep inside and look for what I had to forget

One day you will see the hidden truth
someday you will all see the the obvious proof.
