Poem about parental gratitude.

                                                                              My Son

                                                                    The son of my soul,
                                                                    The mirror of my life
                                                                    reflections of yesterday,today and forevermore,
                                                                    the twin of my soul,
many great things you mean to me
you opened the door, to a new world for me,
upon your arrival my soul rejoiced became alive
                                                                    healed my broken heart,
I never understood the meaning of love,
until you came into my heart, my soul
I've grown with you in so many ways,
you my dear son were meant to be,
you were the missing link to my little broken heart,
I am so fortunate and proud, to have accomplished such a distinguished young man,
                                                                    an eternally grateful loving mother.
