February poem for Mrs. Sass's class

Weeks turn into months,

Same thing, different day,

This is high school after all.



We used to be the best together,

Embracing every opportunity,

Every chance to see each other.



Now we loathe the sight of one another,

Fighting is all we ever do.

But that’s to be expected, right?



Those three words don’t work anymore,

They fail to fool anyone.

So who are you trying to convince,

Is it you, or is it me?
