this poem is about a soldier in world war 2
He was still a young man when he joined the war,
It took him to cities both near and far,
He did not complain much when he couldn't be with his wife,
Because he realized that this was a much bigger honour in life.
When he reached the battlefield almost everyone was dead,
Staining the ground around him a deep dark red,
He fought many men for honour and glory.
Making everyday sad depressed and gory,
Days turned into weeks, months, and then years.
Creating new ambitons and different dark fears,
Death found him way to fast.
Making every moment to short to last,
This mans obituary simply said,
That this man was a soldier, who lived and now is dead,
Now he lies with many of his kind in rows,
In the land of honoured and simply lost souls.
