Spiritual Poetry - How to reboot your mind.
Unscrambling an Egg

Your mind is like a chicken
In its early unhatched form

It has such great potential
If the hen just keeps it warm

But then the farmer takes the egg
To sell it at the stand

And someone comes to buy it
So to serve with hash and ham

The farmer's like the Devil
There to stop you from your due

The buyers are his minions
Sent to keep your mind askew

And once the devil steals your mind
And sends it to be scrambled

The rest is like an easy walk
An amble that will ramble

For hell is not a scary place
With brimstone full of fire

It’s subtlety that draws your mind
From that which could inspire

There is no hope of stopping that
Which steals the egg away

Or keeping it from scramble
By the minions of the day

Yes life is just a journey
Which includes this needed theme

To teach us all a lesson
That there is the One supreme

The only way to know him
Is to see what he is not

The relative reflection
Of what needs to be forgot

And once you see the meaning
In the story of your fall

You’ll see the journey back is
Simply answering the call

The day you turn back to the One
Creator of the plan

You’ll delegate the answer
To the only one who can

So now you know the only way
To reconstruct the egg

It’s simply letting he who can
Just ask, no need to beg
