Lost as a child but found as an adult
born into a life as a fortunate child
growing up to be free and wild

run and play oh look at me
then one day what could be

cold and afraid lost and alone
no mercy had the day shone

time went by and fear took hold
clinging to life in the dark and cold

at last a home to call my own
but still sad and all alone

childhood passes and I took my stand
1000 miles I crossed this land

I was lost but now had found
my holy land my sacred ground

open arms and a happy song
I had waited oh so long

promises never to leave my fathers hand
until Christmas day when he left this land
