The Place

There is a place,
Quite special to me.

It is cold, lonely, dark-
And yet ever so bright at the same time.

It is a place where the doomed and forgotten ones live.
This place has caged so many things-
Thoughts, hopes, and dreams.

So many things that make me-
Me.

Thoughts of love,
Hopes to live,
Dreams of happiness.

All of them i have failed to achieve.

They throw medication in my veins,
Telling me things such as, "These will change your ways."

The voices ringing in my ears,
Screaming all of my biggest of fears.
