A reflection upon myself.
Upon her emerald gaze I see the truth

I see that the real me has been dead,

Been casted aside by society as an empty husk

The corpse which remains hides from the miasma

Gore covering his hands as he looks at me

Smiling, he holds my heart, looking down in horror

The empty cavity pulsates, ichor spilling forth

Falling to my knees I look up at the wicked remains

Standing tall now he looks into my eyes

“I am you, and you are me, there is no escape…”

And with those last words he stripped the flesh

From my very bones

I black out on that hard cold floor

Awakening, staring into that emerald gaze
