A short Poem about getting older.
[Introduction]
Eye of storm has passed and gone
Left me to wonder what went wrong

Light of new dawn anoints the tree
Breeze that sweeps the nestled leaves

Reminds me of days of youth and yore
The days we yearn for - now no more

And so I hold this memory dear
It lingers with me crystal clear

When thoughts of gold not so keen
And bodies tangled soft and lean

So as the sun begins to set
I think of things yet unmet

I’ll set a course of unknown glory
Hope will lead me to righteous story

Before the darkness closes in
Before the storm again begin
