The heavy days dragged on as I fought the rush of traffic trying to get my work completed to meet the critically short deadline. “No”, she said. “I told you yesterday it wouldn’t be ready.” The pain in my chest was intense but welcoming…and then I woke up and Earth seemed so, so far away.
