[Introduction]
Single drops of rain
Insides tearing in the pain
Lingering drops against the glass
Every time, the thoughts stop and pass
Not one thing said in vain
They fall upon the page again
Lost in the night, soul gone from mass
Your dear beloved dead, still chaste

Remember all those times
Uttered soft were coyest words in rhymes
Not so much to please her ear
Not so much to keep not clear
Indeed, close she was to you
Never stray from arms, her joy so blue
Gone away, forever in peace, because a guy with a gun bought her lease
