The feelings of losing someone you love to education and distance...still rough
I stood there and watched,
As you packed up your car,
The only thought in your head,
School.

Tears rolled down my pale cheeks,
As you hugged me and told me,
That you would always be with me,
And never would leave me.

Then leaning down,
You kissed me,
And the salty tears fell more.

I waited for the tears to stop,
But as you drove away,
They fell more and more,
The silent tears,
I had learned to fear.

The summer breeze whirled through my hair,
As the dust whirled around your car,
I watched you get smaller and smaller.

The tears fell more,
And as i lay there in the night,
I still see your car driving away,
And me left in the dust,
With my silent tears.
