A beginning that I am considering.
My Death Story.

Chapter One.

So this is heaven? To be honest I’m immensely disappointed, I was expecting glorious white buildings that glisten against ever blue skies, and a magnificently gorgeous man standing before me with astounding wings that shimmer. I mean that’s not beyond low expectation now is it? A little of the wow factor, but instead I get this place, a never-ending field of grass, and not even luscious grass, just plain old monotonous green grass and a cloudy sky, god I hate clouds!

Hey, there’s a point, where is god? Isn’t he meant to show up now and reassure me that everything is all right, or at least send someone to facilitate me because I don’t see anyone in close proximity and if he thinks I’m going to walk for miles to locate him, for some kind of analysis, well he can forget it. Eva Bennett does not run around for anyone. Ha! I bet he wasn’t expecting that now was he. Well I suppose while I’m waiting I may as well get you engrossed in how I managed to disembark in such a nightmarish place to begin with.

Firstly, I’m dead! Or at least I think I am and technically should be seeing as what happened. Well here it goes then, it was a sinister night and a major storm was brewing in the blackened sky whilst I walked through a spine-chilling cemetery where the dark, hair-raising night swallowed me instantaneously. Okay so maybe I was walking through a regular suburban street on a moderately grey skied day, but the cemetery added immense atmosphere that undeniably captivated you and is extremely important, especially to a witch! Oh wait I hadn’t mentioned that before had I? Well now you know, I am an extremely powerful witch, or at least that’s what my mother tells me, if I’m honest though I’m more powerful in the shopping department. However I’ve got this peculiar feeling that my being a witch plays a significant role in my demise, nonetheless right now is not the time to dwell on that.

So there I was, walking along, waving at the poor, elderly neighbours and taking in strays on my way to a gruelling day at the office. Oh come on I could have been! I mean who was you to know that I abhor dogs and think elderly people have a repugnant smell to them, not to mention the fabulous job in designing. Anyway whilst on my walk, yes I actually walked instead of hiring a lavish chauffeur, I noticed someone was tailing me, not that I blame them I was looking rather stunning that day, although for some reason I was not at ease. I felt it in my gut that I had to get out of there, and fast! However to do that I would have had to have taken my extremely expensive and utterly astonishing shoes off, to use my ultra super speed that I gained from my father, and leave them behind. To my misfortune I hesitated and in that split second the foul beast shot me square in the chest and ruined my favourite blouse! I would love to get my hands on one of his shirts and shoot a hole in it. Oh that reminds me, I wonder if it’s still ruined, oh thank god! No damage!

So there you have it, I got shot, a hideously boring way to go, don’t you think? Who would have thought that that would be my death story?
