Color My World

Color My World

Splattered upon the canvas,
vibrant rich and free
the colors dance and sing
echoing inside of me.

Yet it does seem to me,
the orange, the green, the red,
all the vivid imagery
still something’s left unsaid.

Turning around in my mind
with yellow, white and black,
on the canvas it is seen,
but in life, we do lack.

In the frame they mix and meld
each one’s separate, but acts as one,
from pink to blue and violet, too
every color under the sun.

I wish you rainbows in your skies
pure joy to release;
asking from you, in return
color my world with only peace.
