I don't really have any description for my stuff...I'm happy to leave that up to you
Lonely bird
Cageless yet still
Knower of a thousand songs
With throat full of silence
Mind full of sky
Yet remembers not the sun

Come,
Sit on my sill.
Carry my heart with song.
Sing to me of the clouds,
And your travels
Through misty veil…

Lend me your eyes
That I may see the sea
As the sun slowly drowns,
And chase her last rays
Across the face of the deep,
With its blackening swell…

Lend me your wings...
That I may see the view,
Perched in the solitude
Of the cathedral spire,
Of her glorious rebirth,
East, across Marlborough downs,
Beyond Avebury,
And its’ timeless circle of stone…

Lend me your ears...
That I may hear the song
Of love unseen
Yet forever known,
Drifting through the mighty oaks
Of the forest at Charnford...
Skipping like a stone
Across golden spokes of sun.
Piercing its ageless canopy

What wonders must be known to a mind,
Remembering neither perch nor leap...
To know not of breeze against wing,
Yet never to doubt the flight…

To observe a moment
Through glass eyed gaze…
Never mating this moment to next
Lest you fill your hollow bone
With the weight of memory
And drop from the sky like a stone.

Come little friend,
Sing me your song,
With closed eyes I shall swoon,
And open heart I shall fly
Lend me your loneliness
And let us take flight…
