I pray to the Angels above
As I sense your presence within me.
I see the shadows on my wall
Like clouds that raise me, but won't let me fall.

I whisper to you as the touch of the wind would say,
As you are in my dream.
I wish I knew if you heard me
And brought me closer to you,
As you gradually fade away in the distance.

I pray to the guide in the sky above me,
As I look and wish into the midnight sky upon the star.

I pray to the higher power who can lift me
And show me the way back to my heart.

I pray for the lives that are taken tragically
Every second of the day.

I pray for the return and new beginnings
That are flowing along the way.

I pray to you-and asking for forgiveness
to give us just another chance for truth,

And to give us strength to overcome the present
By believing in dreams that could come true.
